About Anouk
Description
Anouk grew up on the glaciers and peaks of Switzerland where her family is from and currently resides. Anouk has had an appreciation for the elevated outdoors from an early age. She has lived in Europe, America’s east coast, and finally, she was drawn to the west coast in her teens and never left. Anouk has been guiding rock, alpine, and ski trips in California and Washington for over 9 years, and also teaches avalanche courses. She returns to Europe every spring and summer to guide ski touring, mountaineering and alpine trips in the Alps and in Norway. She sees her guide work as a way to increase and infuse passion and knowledge into the outdoor community – her way of giving back after having been fortunate enough to receive solid mentorship during her initial years going through the Mountain Guide program.

Ski Touring Day in Northern Norway
From the town of Tromsø, we'll head towards the mountains, strap on our gear and perform a beacon check, and then ascend from sea to summit. With tremendous panoramic views throughout the day, we seek out the best snow for our descent and ride exciting lines to our hearts' content.
1-Day Backcounty Ski Touring
March - April 2027 (dates on request) Our full day of backcountry ski touring will include ascents and descents that are compatible with the guests' fitness and ability. In the Alps, we have many peaks and lines to choose from, and our location for our tour will depend on avalanche and snow conditions. This day can be customized for a 1:1 seeking a particular objective or line, or with a bigger group we will seek out nice pleasurable skiing that everyone can enjoy together.
Berner Oberland Hut-to-Hut Ski Tour April 2027
We ski for 6 days through the Berner Oberland, a collection of vast glaciers and peaks that offer countless ski descents and touring options along the way. Each night is spent in a wardened alpine hut where we enjoy the views, warm meals and a bed, and share our stories with other adventurers. From our first day starting at the Jungfraujoch, we traverse this beautiful range from west to east, exploring all the terrain it has to offer. Our final day includes an exhilarating 1300 meter descent down into the valley below, where we board a train and say our farewells as we wrap up our 6-day adventure.
Norway Ski & Sail 7 - day
May 1-8, 2027 Our 7- day, 7-night Ski & Sail trip in Northern Norway takes us inside the Arctic Circle, where we explore the islands of the Lyngen and Finnmark Alps. For 7 days, we'll adventure through beautiful islands, skiing great lines straight down to the ocean, eating delicious food prepared by our captain and crew, and basking in the Nordic sun while taking in the breathtaking views! Maybe we'll even brave a refreshing and healing Arctic plunge or two, balanced out by some hot tub and sauna time, and see dolphins and reindeer along the way.
Urner Haute Route
March - April 2027 (custom dates available) Our Urner Ski Tour combines the athleticism of long descents and steep slopes with the leisure of overnight stays at wardened alpine huts. Meant for the advanced rider with good backcountry ski experience, this "skier's haute route" combines multiple summits with unique and amazing views, and the joy of skiing great snow in beautiful landscape and wilderness.
