Enjoy freeriding or ski touring in the backcountry of Chamonix-Mont Blanc. One of our IFMGA/UIAGM guides will plan the day(s) after your preferences, level, and the current snow conditions: ultimately to ensure you have the best skiing days of your trip.
There are a lot of good options in Chamonix, including access to large glacier areas - and the famous La Vallée Blanche.
We use the lifts to access the terrain, sometimes with short hikes from the top lifts. If you have gear for ski touring, it can open up a lot of good areas. Ski touring equipment is available for rent in Chamonix, and you can consult this with your guide beforehand if it's needed or not.

Vallée Blanche is a world-famous off-piste descent of approximately 20 km, starting from the Aiguille du Midi at an altitude of 3,842 meters. If the conditions allow it, the guide can arrange to ski this iconic run.
This route requires a solid skiing level, and you need to be able to handle different type of terrain. The descent is only possible under safe weather and snow conditions, and if the level of the group is sufficient

Yes, Vallée Blanche is an option if;
1) Your skiing level is good
2) The conditions are good for it
If not, then another option will be arranged by the guided based on your preferences and the current conditions.
Yes, you can book online. For short notice bookings, we recommend to contact us first to confirm availability.

The day will start with a short safety briefing. The guide will then take you for a full day of freeride (off-piste from lifts) and/or ski touring. You either bring lunch or stop at a restaurant. This can be discussed with the guide.
The guide will adapt the day to fit the weather situation. On snowy days, lower elevation are usually better. On clear days, higher elevations. The guides are good in finding the best possible skiing at for the moment.
The price depends on the number of guests
• Up to 2 people: €550 per day
• Additional participants: +€50
• Max. number of guests: 6
5% booking fee applies to bookings.
For off-piste: intermediate to advanced skiers. Easy slopes or steep couloirs – it all depends on your level and preferences.
Full payment is required at booking to confirm your guide.
We accept credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and various local payment options via Stripe.
No, it's not included. Avalanche gear (& glacier equipment, if needed) can be rented at the sports shops in town. The guide will communicate a list of gear that you will need.
